Bijou (Be-Zhou), meaning "small and elegant jewel or jem" is the son of our Snowmass Snow Legend daughter-Pearl, and Snowmass Reminiscence, who has almost impenetrably dense fleece and a champion ancestry line from Snowmass Snowmaster, Snowmass Edelweis, Snowmass Legacy Gold, and Snowmass Andean Gold.

Bijou has definitely inherited his parent's fleece characteristics, including bright, popcorn-like fleece, & good conformation, that is to be desired an alpaca.
With Bijou comes a line of lingering fineness (meaning their fleece stays fine). His maternal grandsire, Snowmass Snow Legend had an AFD of whopping 14.4 (year 1); 18.8 (year 3); 20.7 (year 5); & 20.8 (year 9).
Her maternal granddam, LPS Lucia Fernandez shows: 17.4 (year 1); 22 (6 years); & 22.8 (year 9)!!!

Bijou's own dam-Pearl's histograms show fineness too: At 1 year of age, her AFD was: 20.8; 2nd year: 19.1; 3rd year: 21.5; 4th year: 19.2; 5th year: 19.5

Pearl's full sisters show the same:
Carol: 1 year: 17.9; 2nd year: 19.8; 3rd year: 19; 4th year: 21.5; 5th year: 20.7; 6th year: 20.4
Beauty: 1 year: 16.7; 2nd year: 17.5; 3rd year: 18.7; 4th year: 17.1
Selah: 1 year: 17.3; 2nd year: 16.4

Packed jam full of the amazing quality genetics of Jolimont Gold Dust, Snowmaster, Snowmass Incaaccoyo Star, Snowmass Belladonna, Snowmass Andean Bronze, Snowmass Legacy Gold, Peruvian Javier, & Zhanna Sunrise, plus his quality fleece characteristics, Bijou is the perfect pick to add these rare genetics to your herd.

NOTE: Bijou's pricing does not at all reflect his fleece, confirmation, or temperament's characteristics. We just need to make more room for the crias who are going to be born this year.
